A Proverb for the Presently and Previously Occuring

"The hunter who chases two rabbits," answered the master, "catches neither one."

I could get a lot more done if I applied this to my life. I know a couple other people that could use some of this philosophy in their lives as well.

What do you think?

Multi-Blogging

Ok, so most of you people know I am a computer junky. This post is a test to see if I can use a piece of software called w.bloggar to post to both my blogger.com blog and my livejournal.com blog. There is some discussion at work with using this technology to increase the reach of our blogging power.

Let's see if this works.

Life's not a track meet. It's a marathon

Haven't written here in awhile. So lately I feel like I am coasting, operating on a base level of existence, mentally anyway. Things are okay for me.

My career isn't really taking me places as quickly as I'd like. As most of you know I'm not married; I have no children. I'm not saving up to buy a house or investing, but I am getting by just fine.

I've written about the importance of goals on here before, but unfortunately ambition is taking a back seat. I'm not sure what it is going to take for me to snap out of this. I have mused over this. What are your goals?

I've met a lot of interesting people in the last couple of months. I was starting to lose faith in people in the last couple of years, not sure why, just felt that way in general. What about all of you? Do you think our culture is in a downward spiral?

We're all flawed. Is anyone else sick of this 'it's all good' philosophy?

Joining the Hordes

I finally watched Napaleon Dynamite. It was flip'n hilariously ridiculous. I liked it.

Staying Out Late

Friday:

Took a ½ day off work. Got a bunch of time off I need to use up. Anybody up for a road trip?

Came home and farted around. Then I slept for awhile; I stayed out real late on Thursday. (Damn you Ruth!)

Didn't do anything til late. Just went over to Ruth's and watched Ruth's favorite movie, The Sulton Sea. Work called and Laura had some questions about updating the site. Didn't get home til like 4 a.m.

Saturday:

I wasn't as productive as I had hoped I'd be on Saturday. Ended up Hanging out with Jess. We didn't really do anything terribly interesting. We went to Circuit City and Panera Bread. Then we just Hung out at my place.

Later on I ended up at Matt's and caught everyone watching the last twenty minutes of this horrible movie, Gozu. Beat Meathead in Chess. Watching the snow was nice.

Drove home and the snow was horrible. Slid around a whole bunch. Got home around 2:45 a.m. Work called and the Megan had some questions about updating the site.

Watched Kingdom of Heaven, which I picked up earlier at Circuit City. Ended up being up til like 6:30 a.m.

Sunday:

Nothing terribly interesting went down. Hung out with Steve for a bit. I was only awake for like 10 hours so it was a short day.

Too Much

I can't remember all the frig'n logons I need to remember. I'm spread out. I need to reel in what's important. I also need to make more thing second nature. This isn't just Web site logons; that's just one example.

Anyone got any tips for becoming a more organized person?
